I wish I could say I listened to something thematically relevant while painting this.
But it was mostly Barbie Girl, All The Single Ladies, and the soundtrack of ROCKY.

Look! Got around to illustrating characters from THE PHOENIX THIEF and of course chose the moment of mortal peril! What else is new! So happy to finally get into digital painting for this project, however. I'm finally getting close to the style and content I originally envisioned for it, almost five years ago.
