Keeping Warm by TheyNamedHerRheulea Keeping Warm by TheyNamedHerRheulea
Snow drifts build up and enfold us
As we wait out this winter storm
So we snuggle close in the darkness
And keep each other so warm

~Tip of The Iceberg, Owl City

Just bought this song, and that fact couple with the unpleasantly cold temperature we've been having (for crying out loud, it's MAY!), I listened to all the Bing Crosby Christmas music I have. And then I had to draw these two being adorable. :woohoo: Although, this is probably in a daydream of Alec's, or something, as he's too terrified of damaging the friend zone he's stuck in with Nissa, being to scared to tell her he really, really likes her. Cute little coward.

Also, very pleased: drew this without references, FOR THE WIN. I normally do, for hands. But I didn't dis time. Gonna color this later!

Alec and Nissa, (c) of me, are two Conductives - people born with the genetic (dis)ability to retain energy from their surroundings. Read/see more about them here: [link]

Your sketchy style just gives the whole picture a warm sort of feeling, almost like they're alive! It's incredible :)

Aw, thanks!
Dude. That'd be so cool, if they were alive. Though the'd probably hate me for all the awkward/bad things I put them through... heh heh

Anatomically, this isn't as strong as your other drawings, but I've noticed that when I go reference free, what lacks in skilled anatomy is made up for in raw emotion and just acquired draftsmanship. This is the case with this one! I really love it! and don't get me wrong, the anatomy is still very good, just not as strong as the others:)

Oh gosh and this crummy wintery weather! We might not be in the same state, but I'm experiencing the same out where I'm at and who doesn't love Bing Crosby in May?:)

Yes, exactly. I wanted to go more for the mood, rather than make this stiff with technical correctness. :)

Bleh. It is awful, isn't it? Ah well. Any excuse to listen to Bing croon. :D
